Electrician in Forrest County, MS
Forrest County centers on Hattiesburg, the county seat and the hub of the whole Pine Belt, with Petal just across the Leaf River. It is the busiest, most varied territory Chris covers. Hattiesburg alone runs from century-old homes in the historic neighborhoods near downtown and the Southern Miss campus, through student rental housing and mid-century ranches, out to subdivisions that keep pushing west across the Lamar County line. Petal adds a deep bench of 1970s-through-2000s family housing that is now cycling through kitchen, bath and garage remodels. Ellisville is a short run up I-59, so Forrest County is week-in, week-out work.
Three jobs dominate here. Old-neighborhood rewiring and service upgrades on houses wired before central air. Fast, inspection-ready repairs and device work on rental and student properties that turn over every year. And full rough-in, lighting layout, EV charger circuits and surge protection on the new construction filling in on the west side of the metro. Petal's ranch-era homes add a steady stream of panel upgrades and remodel circuits on top of that. What Chris does in Forrest County: whole-house and partial rewiring, panel and service upgrades, new construction rough-in and trim-out, recessed, pendant and vanity lighting, ev charger installation, rental property repairs and troubleshooting.
